Workshops, panel discussions, keynote speeches, and many more activities with some of the top names in the industry took place last week at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin. 'Languages and the Media' examined the ways in which innovative technologies are changing the globalized provision of audiovisual media and the ways we consume it across and within languages.

The event started with a keynote speech by David Padmore,Senior Vice President Content Services and General Manager for TVT Media, followed by Allison Smith, Localization Solutions Program Manager at Netflix, who spoke about localization for the platform’s content.
A learning and networking experience
Among many other things, we learned about the ways to successfully manage multi-language projects, as well as the importance of being consistent in your service to capitalize on new opportunities.
Our goal for participating in this year’s Languages & The Media was to learn about the latest technologies, training techniques, products and services that are driving the sector today, and also to discover the trends and developments that will shape the translation practices of tomorrow.
And, of course, network with great people in beautiful Berlin.
It was definitely a week to remember, and we’re glad to say:
